There is a growing interest in the work and ideas of the great pioneering and influential figure of the twentieth century Carl Gustav Jung whose extraordinary genius and humanity reached far beyond the realm of psychology and psychiatry into redefining the essential nature of who we are and what we hope to become.

The purpose of the Cambridge Jungian Circle is to advance public education in the form of understanding and awareness of the works of Carl Gustav Jung and related matters, from its base in Cambridge UK, as laid down in its constitution.

This website illustrates some of the ways we try to achieve that, how we are organised, what we can offer members. We invite anyone who has an interest in Jungian thought, or in Jung's life or work to consider becoming a part of this thriving Circle.

"One of the greatest merits of Jung, was that he did not leave us an intellectually closed system or doctrine, but that he opened so many doors, through which we can perceive an enormous amount of new, creative possibilities for insight.”                  Marie Louise von Franz,  Psyche, Matter and Modern Science
