Synopsis:
With the 2025 publication of Dedicated to the Soul: The Writings and Drawings of Emma Jung, the private creative work of Emma Rauschenbach Jung was brought to light, after decades of obscurity. For the first time we are able to see many facets of her inner life and recognise her as a full partner in the groundbreaking work of her husband, Carl Jung. While Emma adopted most of the conceptual apparatus of Analytical Psychology, she approached the psyche in her own way. Her recently published work also demonstrates that, in her mid-thirties, she had the courage to confront the almost unbearable conflicts in her marriage, emerging from that nekyia in a remarkable state of wholeness.
