Jung, Daimons and the Porous Self – Questions of Co-Creation

Prompted by Carl Jung’s 150th birthday last year and her reading of the Red Book, Jeannet will share some of her own inner journey and glimpses into deep psyche.

Learning through one’s own deep inner perception can be understood as a gnostic mode of knowing — a form of direct insight that is, in principle, available to everyone. Jeannet’s talk is in part an outcome of her own attempt at integration.

Using her interest in psychedelics, kundalini, and trauma as an entry-point, she will exploresomething of the interface between our personal and the collective unconscious.

Jeannet will consider Jung’s notion of daimons as emissaries of deep psyche, and how these might resonate and mesh with our personal complexes to form channels for archetypal influence, perhaps experienced in an embodied way as kundalini-like energies.
